I grew up with a single mother who worked her ass off to provide us with a better life. Some of my first memories were of poverty, scarcity, and struggle, surrounded by Blacks and Latinos in Canarsie Brooklyn. Later, when we moved to the suburbs of Bel Air Maryland, where the population was 90% white, I witnessed affluence and abundance. Growing up experiencing this disparity firsthand ignited my passion for financial services and a mission to help close the racial wealth gap. I chose to get into a business that I thought would allow me to create generational wealth in my family by helping others do the same.

BUT THEN… As I educated myself beyond the financial industry’s indoctrination, I discovered a sickening truth: the system isn’t designed to help everyday people build wealth. Instead, it perpetuates financial illiteracy and disempowerment. A profound spiritual awakening (through plant medicine) eventually led to a financial awakening, which inspired me to leave the financial services industry and establish Internally Rich Coaching—a space where I empower others to create true abundance, which is not a number in the bank account, but a state of being.
